Getting ready for Employment

We are excited to tell you about the fourth event in our series of talks, "Getting ready for Employment" presented by Specialisterne Ireland.

Specialisterne Ireland is an innovative and inclusive specialist consultancy that recruits and supports neurodiverse people to explore their strengths and talents and to find and retain meaningful employment. We help employers to recruit and retain talented people and grow diverse, effective teams. Established in 2013 Specialisterne Ireland is a member of the Specialisterne global network headquartered in Denmark and at the forefront in employment assessment, training, education and support of neurodivergent persons and employers. We pride ourselves on successfully working with a number of organisations and business leaders globally to enable jobs for neurodivergent talent – including major companies such as Microsoft and IBM.

In order to ensure successful outcomes for everyone we spend time building our relationship with candidates and provide support for candidates from preparation to placement through a neurodiverse friendly process. Through our employer partnerships, we explore where a candidate’s experience, education and skillset might match an available position in one of our partner companies, and support the candidate through the interview process. This allows us to tailor the interview for the needs of the candidate and coach the interview panel on conducting neurodiverse friendly interviews. When a candidate successfully places at interview Specialisterne Ireland will support the on boarding of the candidate into the workplace through ensuring reasonable accommodations are made and other needs are recognised and considered. We continue to provide ongoing support to both employees and employers for as long as requested to ensure that lines of communication are open, needs are met, employee retention is prioritised, and that both employers and employees experience a positive outcome.
