GAA Skills Programme

Limerick City & County partnership are seeking expressions of interest in a Fundamental GAA Skills programme, in both Hurling & Football, in conjunction with Munster GAA.

This club is open to all children with Motor Coordination Difficulties.

  • Date: 23rd of Sept / 3rd Thursday of Each Month.
  • Time: 4-5pm
  • Venue: Old Christians GAA Club.
  • Price: Small Fee (TBC).

Munster GAA to supply equipment; helmets, hurleys etc

Coordination Difficulties.

  • Time: 12 – 1pm
  • Venue: Grove Island Leisure Ctr., Corbally, Limerick.
  • Price: €40-00 for a block of 8 sessions.
  • Tutor: Simon Murray.

Aim: The focus of this club is on the development of core fundamental skills such as movement, balance, catching and throwing, hitting, striking and kicking. All of which are integral parts of development for any child but through fun games and activities.

Marital Arts Class.

Galligan’s Tang Soo do.

Aim: The aim of the class is to introduce your child to physical exercise and learning in a friendly, structured environment while introducing them to Tang Soo Do.

The emphasis in this class is on teaching basic skills and positive reinforcement. These skills include: Balance & Coordination, Self-Confidence & Self-Esteem, Following Instructions, Self-Discipline, Respect for others and themselves, Energy Release, Learn Healthy Habits, Goal Setting, Train Hard and have FUN.

The Limerick FC, Limerick City and County partnership & Limerick Dyspraxia Group are seeking expressions of interest in a Fundamental Soccer Skills Programme.

This programme is open to all children with Motor Coordination Difficulties.

  • Age: 4 – 8 year olds.
  • & 8 – 12 year olds.
  • Date: Sunday 12th of September.

  • Venue: The Factory Sports Complex.
  • (Old Fulflex Building)
  • Galvone Road, Limerick
  • Time: 12 – 1pm
  • Price: €40-00 for a block of 8 session.
