Mission Statement

The main aims of the Dyspraxia Association are:

  • to aid, assist, by any means, counsel, support, including the provision of a support network, and advocate on behalf of, people with Dyspraxia and the families and carers of people with Dyspraxia;
  • to raise awareness of Dyspraxia;
  • to gather information on Dyspraxia and to provide such information to the Association, people with Dyspraxia, carers of people with Dyspraxia, the Health Service Executive, the Government, statutory and non-statutory agencies and service providers to ensure adequate resources and available to meet the needs of people with Dyspraxia;
  • to encourage, and where resources and available, to fund research into and connected with Dyspraxia;
  • to organise activities for people with Dyspraxia;
  • to liaise and link, formally and informally, with other groups involved in the area of special needs and disability, where similar interests exist;
  • to raise finds for suffers of Dyspraxia and their families.
